Is F1 too predictable?

I remember the days where F1 legend, Michael Schumacher, was pretty much guaranteed to get pole position every F1 race. With the fight for 1st place seeming impossible for anyone else, many people said F1 was getting too predictable.

Now Lewis Hamilton seems to be on a similar par with 8 wins so far this season and 14 number one starts, he is storming the championship board.

F1 have changed many of the rules of the motor sport, some for safety reasons and others to make the sport more competitive. With the cars now been matched more evenly, the race depends more on the skill of the driver and Lewis Hamilton confirmed this when he left McLaren for Mercedes and took his ability to win with him.

Although Lewis is outperforming many of his competitors the race seems to of maintained its excitement this time round with many of the rules meaning that the race for 2nd and 3rd place is still up for grabs and as they say…anything can happen.
