Is it a good idea to chip your car

Many of us wish that our car had a bit more go. You like the way it handles, its comfort to sit in and the sound system is great, but when you put your foot down it seems like forever to get up to sixty miles per hour. Some people chose to put on an aftermarket exhaust or induction kits, but these really give very little improvement to the power. Another way to improve the performance is to chip the engine. Some people think that this is wrong and that if you mess with the dynamics of the engine you are asking for trouble, but that is not necessarily the case. If the chipping is done professionally it can have many benefits other than just the power improvement. Chipping a car often improves the throttle response, towing ability and even how economical the car is – saving you on fuel. If a car has been chipped and you are not happy with it, you can always have it set back to the original settings.
